The 10th Annual Walk Begins: 10:30 AM Location: Steele Indian School Park – 300 E. Indian School Road – Phoenix, AZ 85012 Every four minutes someone is diagnosed with epilepsy. In the time it takes you to get your morning cup of coffee, load the dishwasher, check your voicemail, or pay your electric bill, someone, somewhere has just been diagnosed with epilepsy. It is time to shine the spotlight on this highly misunderstood and underfunded disorder. November is National Epilepsy Awareness Month. The Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona wants to increase awareness with the Phoenix Epilepsy Walk. Join us Saturday, November 15, 2014, at Steele Indian School Park to make epilepsy impossible to overlook! This fundraising walk is non-competitive. The course is approximately 2 miles; alternative routes will be set up for individuals who cannot walk that far. Every individual who registers receives a commemorative walk t-shirt. This is a wonderful way to spend the day with family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Leashed dogs are always welcome! We encourage teams to register, or you can sign-up as an individual.
Registration for the walk will be available beginning in mid- September. Please check back for additional details.
