The Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona office staff includes:

Suzanne Matsumori, Executive Director
Suzanne brings over twenty years of experience in the non-profit  and government sectors to EFAZ. Her experience in senior leadership positions addressed child abuse & neglect, domestic violence, sexual assault, military assistance, tribal foster care & adoptions, and housing for the severely mentally ill and developmentally disabled population. She received her Masters degree from University of Southern California. Suzanne is a boot camp fanatic and lives to hike wherever there is incline - like the Grand Canyon.  In her spare time, she volunteers at the Arizona Humane Society and fosters underweight kittens in her home.

Courtney A. Gatson, Program Manager
Developing new ideas, creating pathways, and helping to eradicate poverty are the main goals of an AmeriCorps VISTA. Courtney A. Gatson, HandsOn Greater Phoenix AmeriCorps VISTA member, has accepted the challenge of stepping in at the Epilepsy Foundation of Arizona as Program Manager to help build capacity and increase visibility and awareness in the under-served communities of Arizona. While pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts at Howard University, Courtney mastered the trait of versatility working as a volunteer coordinator, assistant director, assistant teacher, talent scout, special events assistant, office clerk and tutor. This jack of all trades hails from Houston, TX, and is no stranger to unrelenting heat. The upcoming summer nor the steep Arizona hiking trails will get the best of this girl.

You may contact Courtney at CourtneyG@epilepsyaz.org or 602.406.3581.
